Impact of Indian Classical Music on people

I am a lover of indian classical music. I am learning Harmonium (Sanvadini) since 18 years (since childhood).
In classical music there are raagas based on timing. Any person in the world, there is only one common language called as music. He can able to understand your feelings through music without understanding his language.

If you listen raagas regularly (daily minimum half an hour) then you will definately get benefits as follows .
Some examples are as: Raag Darabari and Bhairavi - Brings the feeling of joy, energy, peace and also relieves tension and depression.
Raag Bhup - It helps to relieve tension, anger and mental fatigue.
Raag Jayjaywanti - Develops the expression of voice.
Raag Bhairav and Durga - It activates spirituality in the person and boosts self-confidence and immunity in children.
Raag Yaman - Improves concentration.

Like this, there are so many raagas which if you listen to them, then you can see the impact of theses in your life to improve the quality of our life.

There are many centres of Music therapy in india and outside india.

So, please listen classical music. It is not mandatory for people to learn first classical music then only listen. People at any age can listen classical music.
